Tough economic times call on the complimentary services of outreach programs, even collegiate ones at that. The volunteer program in Cal-State Fullerton focuses on helping neglected communities across the L.A. and Orange Counties providing them with free food and donated necessities: clothing and grocery items. This particular story shed light on a Santa Ana non-profit Catholic organization that dedicated its weekends to helping the less fortunate. Its services such as "free haircuts," was warming to the heart as groups of people took time out to treat themselves to something that usually is considered a luxury than a bi-monthly maintenance for them.
